Lindsay is the reason we are successfully breastfeeding to this day. No one in the field is more knowledgeable, professional, or sincere. My daughter had a tongue/lip tie & I assumed our days of breastfeeding were over. Lindsay held our hands through the entire process and laid out a strategic plan that immediately put our minds at ease. Within a few visits, we saw progress. Our previously inconsolable baby is now exclusively (& painlessly) breastfed, sleeping through the night & “flourishing”!

Aside from Lindsay’s extensive knowledge regarding all things breastfeeding, CFT work, & baby development - she’s also a mother who is compassionate & personable.

Lindsay was a light in some of the darker days of learning to breastfeed, navigating the tongue-tie release procedure, and being a first-time mom.

If I could give two pieces of advice to moms: 1) only buy the zip-up onesies and 2) book Lindsay as soon as possible.”

Lindsay Gustafson was my saving grace during my breastfeeding journey with my first child! I had many complications that led to a low milk supply. She not only provided great tips to help me increase my supply but also provided the emotional support that I desperately needed. Whether you need extensive help or have basic questions, I highly recommend Lindsay Gustafson as an IBCLC! I am currently pregnant with our second child and have already contacted her to set up a plan for breastfeeding and pumping post delivery!”

“Words can’t express how grateful I am to have Lindsay as my lactation consultant and friend! When I was pregnant with my second baby, I wanted to be as prepared as possible to breastfeed so I did research and contacted Lindsay for a consult. She spent so much time with me - educating me and arming me with all the information and resources to help prepare me for what happens when baby arrives! We had a short unexpected NICU stay and Lindsay was so encouraging, supportive and available for all the questions and plan of attack to ensure my breastfeeding journey would continue. Once we were home, she came over every week for guidance, weight checks and support. Honestly, Lindsay was my BIGGEST cheerleader and advocate which is absolutely invaluable to me. I’m now over 7 months into my breastfeeding journey and I still text with questions. Lindsay is an absolute GEM of a human and I’m so so grateful to have had her in my corner since day one. She is so knowledgeable, sweet and patient. I could seriously go on :) if you’re on the fence, reach out to her and you’ll see. There are not enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation for her!!!”

Lindsay has been a god-send for me and my baby. My little had pretty severe tongue, lip, and buccal ties which made her struggle with nursing and she was in a constant tense state.

Lindsay came to our home (which is a huge plus) and evaluated out baby.

After one CFT visit, our girl was much more relaxed. Two visits later, our baby was reaching milestones that she was a little delayed on. Lindsay gave us simple, not overwhelming home exercises that were geared toward specific things going on with our baby. She is so in tune with what our little bodies need and works out any tensions to allow them to thrive.

Because of CFT and Lindsay our baby doesn’t scream in the car seat, struggle with rolling anymore ( she actually loves tummy time now), has learned to efficiently get milk, and is overall a much happier baby.

Lindsay is gentle, reassuring, and so loving. Out family is going to miss our appointments with her.

Lindsay is one of a kind practitioner who goes above and beyond for her patients. She has helped out little one’s latch tremendously from the comfort of our own home, supported us every step of the way through the tongue tie procedure, and has helped ease tension with cranio sacral treatments. My daughter seemed to just totally relax in her arms. She has been such a lifeline for an overwhelmed new mama and can’t recommend her enough!

I am so thankful to have had you as a resource in Levi’s first year. We had to deal with a lot that we had no idea how to manage. I often think about where we’d be if you hadn’t suggested cutting gluten back in August.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement! You’ve been my biggest and best cheerleader! Here’s to hoping I can keep up my volume!

6 Months today and still going strong with breast feeding and we wanted to say THANK YOU!!

  • Emily

You’ve been absolutely instrumental in my breastfeeding journey, and I want to shout it from the rooftops!

Lindsay came for a home lactation consultation after my 2-week-old son had a lip/tongue tie revision done. She was able to help with latching issues, gave us additional stretches to do to strengthen his mouth and tongue, and overall was so encouraging! She quickly sent over a care plan and has been in touch with me to help troubleshoot a few issues that have arisen since the consultation. She even checked in with me when my husband went back to work! Lindsay truly cares for her clients and wants the bed breastfeeding experience for all mamas and babies! I highly trust and recommend Lindsay!!

As a first time mom (June of 2023) I was looking for any and all resources to be prepared for baby. I took all the classes at our hospital and online …. yes, they were helpful, but nothing compared to the help Lindsay provided my family. I reached out to Lindsay when my baby was days old and I only wish I knew about her sooner! Aka - skip the in person/online courses about breastfeeding and see Lindsay prenatally.

Lindsay provided us with endless resources, support, knowledge and most importantly kind words of encouragement. As a first time mother trying to breastfeed and care for a newborn, Lindsay was nothing less than a saving grace. She responded quickly to our initial appointment request to schedule an in home visit (the best with a new baby). Once she arrived she was extremely professional and so warm hearted as I learned how to support my baby and myself. Words can never describe how wonderful she truly is. We continued to use Lindsay as our baby grew with check ins on nursing, bottle feedings, pumping and returning to work, transitioning to solids while nursing and finally a weaning consultation as our journey came to an end. She was always so will to respond to texts and provide her professional opinion as well as her own experience as a mother herself.

Anyway who is lucky enough to work with Lindsay will have the best cheerleader and wealth of knowledge on their side. Trust me, she’s AMAZING!Description goes here

Lindsay is truly doing God's work for mamas, and is absolutely worth the investment! My husband left a voicemail with her one night in the middle of my frustrated tears at a painful latch. My newborn was only a few days old and I felt like it was all too much. She immediately made time for us the next morning and visited with us, answering so many first time parent questions. She gave tons of advice on nursing and pumping and it was SUCH a relief. I absolutely loved how tender and non judgemental she was, and she truly cared about not just my baby's health, but mine too. Knowing she's in our court has made these first weeks so much easier and we can't thank her enough for her support!

From birth to weaning, Lindsay is the best IBCLC in the greater Kansas City area. As a former labor and delivery nurse, she has seen many types of births, and knows how to support moms and babies in any setting. She has an office, but also makes house calls, as well as virtual visits, and has many support groups. She is the only craniosacral fascial therapy IBCLC in the area, and this skill is invaluable.

Lindsay is up-to-date on current research and products for moms and babies, and this makes a huge difference in a widely oversaturated market.

If I could give a ten star review, I would. Lindsay helped me and my baby at 6 months when no other consultant would, and made a marked difference in our nursing journey. I have also seen her help new moms and babies struggling to nurse, and her skill and care is unmatched.

Lindsay is truly a godsend to my family! I did meet with her for a prenatal consult which was immensely helpful and she evaluated my son in our home when he was days old. I was so thankful to have her on our team from day 1 because my son needed feeding assistance and ended up being diagnosed with a severe tongue tie that did require treatment. I truly believe that if it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t be breastfeeding today, I was so close to giving up! It’s not only about breastfeeding, it’s about proper nutrition and stress free feeding! Lindsay helped with all of the post care and stretches that tie release demands. Breastfeeding is an amazing journey and gift that I don’t take lightly. She’s amazing and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for Lindsay. She is the only reason I have been able to breastfeed my daughter for the last 7 months. The only thing I would change about my birth experience would have been having an appointment with her the day we came home from the hospital. She has helped us navigate a poor latch, lip and tongue ties, clogged ducts, mastitis (almost), an oversupply, the transition back to work, and so much more. She was the person I messaged for basically every question I had as a new mom (even the questions that weren’t feeding related). She made me feel so supported, working with her felt like having a best friend who just happened to be extremely knowledgeable on all baby related topics. My daughter loves her just as much as I do. She is compassionate, kind, professional, responsive, and made me feel so comfortable within minutes of meeting her. Within a few visits, I went from exclusively pumping to exclusively breastfeeding. Her value cannot be overstated. Thank you, Linds, for helping me achieve all of my breastfeeding goals!

  • Jaime

Highly recommend Lindsay for all your lactation needs! She is kind, attentive, and goes above and beyond for her clients to ensure that they are confident and comfortable with all things nursing, pumping, and bottle feeding. If you’re expecting or having trouble with your little one, definitely reach out to her!

  • Brooke

I highly recommend Lindsay! She met with me and listened to my thoughts and concerns about my daughter’s feeding habits and possible oral ties. She was very knowledgeable and responsive, and she put me into contact with an awesome pediatric dentist. She followed up with my after her procedure and was always available if I had any questions. Feeding was a struggle for us for weeks until we met with Lindsay. I am so thankful for her passion and skill set!

Let’s work together to help you and your baby flourish!
